Draft: needs legal review before real use.
A contact email must be added before use; for now the company can be reached by post only. The data-rights wording needs a lawyer's review for the partners' locations.
Terms of use
These terms cover your use of Safe AI Partners, the service SAFE AI Forever Intelligence Commons Inc. runs so that partners can read and sign agreements online. By using the service you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use the service.
Who can use the service
Safe AI Partners is by invitation only. You get an account when we invite you, and the invitation is meant for you alone. Don't pass it on, and don't share your account with anyone else.
Keeping your account safe
Choose a password that you use nowhere else and keep it to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has your password or your invitation link, change your password and tell us at once, using the postal address below.
Signing electronically
When you sign a document here, you agree to sign electronically. We record your details (your name, email, company, title and address, as you entered them), the exact time of signing, your IP address, and a description of your device or browser, together with the exact text you signed.
You sign by typing your full name and confirming your password. Typing your name and confirming your password counts as your signature, and it has the same effect as signing on paper, as far as the law allows. You should only do this when you have read the document and agree to it.
If you sign for a company, you confirm that you have the authority to sign for that company and to bind it. If you don't, don't sign.
What the signed copy is
Each signature produces a PDF copy and a tamper-evident record of what was signed, when, and by whom. The PDF does not carry a certificate-based digital seal. Its evidential value rests on that record and on our storage of it, not on a cryptographic seal inside the PDF file. You can download your copy while you are signed in, and ask for it to be sent to you by email.
Voiding and re-issuing
We may void a signed document, for example when it contains a mistake, and send you a corrected one to sign. The original isn't deleted. It is kept and marked as void, together with the reason, and the correction is a new signature.
Acceptable use
- Use the service only for the agreements sent to you.
- Don't try to get into another person's account or documents, or to get around the service's security.
- Don't interfere with the service, overload it, or probe it for weaknesses.
- Give us true and complete details when you sign.
We may disable an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk. A disabled account can't sign in.
Availability
We try to keep the service running, but we don't promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
Liability
[Liability wording to be drafted by the company's lawyer. This section is a placeholder and must not be used as it stands.]
Changes
We may change these terms. The current version is always the one on this page. Signed agreements are governed by their own text, not by changes made here afterwards.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
